Job Summary
The candidate should have hands-on experience with web services and server-side technologies. The role involves analyzing business requirements, collaborating with various business teams, and contributing to the solution design process. The candidate will be responsible for managing project execution against project plans and delivery commitments, planning releases, and working closely with product managers, partner teams, and engineers. The candidate will also help ensure quality and encourage innovation at all levels.

Responsibilities and Duties

Coordinate projects, including developing and managing realistic project estimates, plans, and metrics.

Ensure that all releases are delivered according to commitments and meet the defined release criteria.

Collaborate with product owners and application specialists to refine and manage the product backlog.

Track team progress toward milestones and sprints using key performance metrics to objectively assess progress.

Provide high-level and detailed updates on project status and overall project health.

Serve as the central point of contact for project-related queries.

Promote release management practices within Agile delivery teams, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), refactoring, value stream mapping, and continuous delivery methodologies.

Drive cross-functional team activities and ensure the timely completion of deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Software engineering experience with a thorough understanding of software product development.

Experience in a software engineering leadership role, managing a team of 2–5 members.

Strong application development experience with one or more of the following technologies: Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.

Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and chatbots will be an added advantage.

Experience with web services using REST and SOAP.

A proven track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional and distributed teams.

Strong leadership competencies, including strategic thinking, results orientation, the ability to build a high-performance culture, and the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop team members.

Experience managing projects using Agile development principles, along with knowledge of industry-standard tools and best practices.

Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive management.

Ability to monitor project progress and provide periodic updates to all stakeholders.

Ability to establish and implement appropriate processes for project execution.

Excellent organizational skills, with proven experience in risk management and mitigation.
