Job Summary
Position: Software Engineer (Node.js)
The candidate is expected to have hands-on experience in web services and server-side development.
In this role, you will analyze business requirements, interact with different business teams, and contribute to the solution design process. You will work with Node.js, NoSQL databases, and related technologies as part of the core development team, where you will be responsible for developing server-side APIs and components. You will also contribute to scaling applications and improving database infrastructure processes.

Work on high-traffic, real-time enterprise applications.

Apply Agile methodologies, design patterns, and software version control systems.

Must-Have Skills

Strong expertise in Node.js, along with proficiency in either Java or Python.

Experience with JSON, Redis or MongoDB, and WebSockets.

Knowledge of AI, natural language processing (NLP), machine learning (ML), and chatbots is an added advantage.

Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and their variants.

Experience developing web services using REST and SOAP.

Knowledge of authentication and authorization techniques.

Hands-on experience in server-side programming, independent of the underlying technology.

Strong understanding of code documentation and knowledge transfer.

Basic knowledge of sockets and queuing systems such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.

Experience building scalable, highly available, mission-critical platforms.

Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.

UI-side development experience with at least one of the following technologies: JavaScript, Angular, React, or Vue.js.

Strong leadership competencies, including the ability to think and act strategically, drive results, build a high-performance culture, and inspire and mentor others to perform at higher levels.
